Kareena Kapoor Khan and I have been friends for 15 years; we have a whatsapp group : Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor is currently busy with the promotions of her next film, Veere Di Wedding. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. The film is slated to release on June 1, 2018.There were rumors that the leading ladies Sonam and Kareena did not get along on the sets. About this, Sonam told Mid-Day, “There’s no rivalry between us. In fact, Bebo(Kareena), Rhea, me and Lolo (Karisma Kapoor) have a Whatsapp group called The Kapoor Girls. We post each other’s yesteryear pictures on it. Bebo and I have been friends for 15 years.”“Such gossip doesn’t bother us because we are in a secure space. Bebo and I are third generation of actors (in our families) and we know how the media functions. We are great friends. We have made a kick-ass movie and proved that women can work with each other and get along. We had a blast (while shooting Veere),” Sonam further added.

During the trailer launch of the film, Sonam went on to say that Kareena Kapoor Khan is her favorite hero. She also complimented Kareena’s discipline and commitment.About her future projects, Sonam said, “The year started well with the success of Padman. After Veere, there’s Sanju, in which I have a cameo. I am also shooting for Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga with dad. I have a couple of interesting projects post that, so I am having a great time.”
