The biographical film 'Manto' unveiled at Cannes Film Festival

Mumbai:  'Manto'is a biographical film based on the famous writer Saddat Hassan Manto, in this his character was played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. This film was unveiled at recent 70th Cannes Film Festival by HP studios. This 'Manto' film is directed by Nandita Das and Nawazzuddin Siddiqui plays the spectacular role and the role Manto's wife by Rasika Duggal named Safiya.


Regard to this half of Manto has already been shot. The remaining after the cannes. The team of Manto planning to complete the shooting by mid-June. 'Manto' was set against the backdrop of India in 1940 and is based on the Saddat Hasan Manto, one of the short stories in South Asia history.
