London, March 20 (IANS) Swedish actor Rebecca Ferguson, noted for playing the female lead in "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation", says she would love to work with Indian cinema and would love to visit India.

In an interview with IANS here, while promoting her next science horror flick "Life", the actor said: "I would love to work with the Indian cinema. In fact, I have never been to India, but I would love to go."

She said she only demands a good story.

"I don't really have any limits. There is no place I wouldn't want to go. If there is an incredible story and something we want to tell and I could be a part of, then definitely. Sign me up," Ferguson told IANS.

Talking about the sci-fi movie "Life", which releases in India on March 24, the actor said she always wanted to do a film with director Daniel Espinosa.

"What was fun about 'Life' was that it was a completely different territory. I have never done science fiction and I really wanted to work with Daniel," she said.

"Life" also features Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal and Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada.

The actor said what interested her about the film was that there was a philosophy in the plot which leaves a message for the mankind.

"In this film, we take an object from its habitat and we place it on our spaceship and we try and grab as much information. We research in the name of science, which is beautiful. At the same time, we provoke it and gradually it reacts to our actions," she said.

Asked if the message was about man's unnecessary poking into other habitats, Ferguson agreed.

"In this story, we create that which can become disastrous. I think Daniel had that philosophy about it... Something that we know can alter mankind," she said.

The actor, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role in "The White Queen", said she does not really eye awards, and rather wishes that her film does well.

"I never think that way. I really don't. I hope the film does well and for me it is basically such a slow process of making a film. I do not stay with one film really," she said.

Ferguson refused to comment on US President Donald Trump's ban on nationals from some Muslim countries from entering America.

She, however, said: "Next time I will be on the barricade, I will say my point because I think it is very important to be well-educated and well-informed before you start opening your mouth."
