He is none other Varun Dhawan who debuted into the industry as the son of veteran actor David Dhawan with Student of the Year movie.
In a recent media interaction Varun admitted that he likes South Films a lot and Rajamouli, Shankar are his favourite directors. He stated that he watches South Films a lot and Ram Charan is a good friend of him. He stated that he likes to act in a movie like Arjun Reddy. Varun's director father David Dhawan who did so many Hindi films helmed the remakes of some Tamil and Telugu films.
Some of his popular movies include Chinna Mapillai (Coolie No. 1), Sathi Leelavathi(Biwi No. 1), Aa Okkati Adakku (Mr and Mrs Khiladi), Allari Mogudu (Saajan Chale Sasural), Assembly Rowdy (Loafer), Hello Brother (Judwaa) etc. Recently he helmed the sequel of Judwaa starring Varun Dhawan which also became a super hit. Now, Varun is also eyeing in South Films like his father.
