Anasuya shocking comments on #Metoo

Anasuya Bharadwaj, the anchor and actress,  also opened up about sexual harassment (#metoo).  Recently in an interview, she was asked about the #MeToo movement and sexual harassment in the workplace. Responding to the query, Anasuya Bharadwaj said that not only women, men too face harassment in the workplace. She added that now days Children are also facing sexual harassment. The bold actress added that to fight against the sexual harassment, they should be strong and courageous without falling into the traps.


Anausya Bharadwaj also said that the sexual harassment incidents are less in Telugu film Industry. Her comments is giving shock to everyone.Number of women from the film industry, have come forward and shared their story of sexual harassment. Apart from lyricist Vairamuthu, Nana Patekar, Alok Nath,  Mukesh, and Radha Ravi have been accused of sexual harassment.


Few days ago,  Chinmayi claimed that the noted lyricist Vairamuthu had once sexually harassed one of her friends. The singer and dubbing artist  also shared screenshots of a few messages her friend had recently sent her about the lyricist. Later she  revealed that she too was harassed by Vairamuthu when she refused to sing for him.  In Bollywood Tanushree Dutt and Nana Patekar’s controversy has already created lot of buzz.


Tanushree Dutta alleged that Nana Patekar grabbed her arm and pushed her on the pretext of teaching her dance moves and touched her “indecently and unnecessarily during the shoot of Horn OK Pleasss.  Now according to the latest update, Nana Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, director Rakesh Sarang and producer Samee Siddiqui, have been booked under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) under the Indian Penal Code. Both sections are bailable.


On the work-side, Anausya Bharadwaj is currently busy in YSR biopic –Yatra in which Malayalam star Mammootty is playing the titular role. She will be seen playing a politician.
