Post the humongous success of films like Baahubali, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, period dramas have become the next big thing in the entertainment industry. In fact, in the list of announcements made by the big banners, most of their upcoming ventures are historical films like Takht, Shamshera, Tanaaji, Kalank, Kesari and many more. And while all the veteran actors and gen-next stars have tried or are trying their hands in this larger-than-life genre, we are yet to see some actors in the historic avatar on the silver screen. Well, we are not complaining about them but just expressing our desire to watch them in these kind of different roles.
