Update on Taimur Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapooor Khan is all set to turn a cop for Irrfan Khan starrer Angrezi Medium. While earlier reports suggests that the actress will begin shooting in May for the film, it seems like the schedule has been delayed. According a report in Deccan Chronicle, Kareena will shoot for the film in June, as in May she wants to enjoy ‘vacation time’ with son Taimur Ali Khan.

The report further stated that since the two-year-old Tim’s playschool stars in June, Kareena has allotted those dates for a schedule of Angrezi Medium. So while Taimur is at school, Bebo can shoot at the same time. Interestingly, Kareena may even take Taimur to the London schedule of Angrezi Medium, suggested the report.

Recently producer Dinesh Vijan had spilled the beans on Kareena’s character in the comic drama. He had told Hindustan Times, “Kareena is a great addition to our franchise! Angrezi Medium is a very special film, and I’m excited that she’s going to be a part of it. We wanted to introduce this character who would be taken forward in the franchisees to come, and she’s perfect for it."

Angrezi Medium is a sequel to 2016 blockbuster Hindi Medium. Angrezi Medium will see Irrfan playing the role of a sweet shop owner, while Radhika Menon plays his daughter who goes to London for higher studies. Irrfan Khan returned to India a month ago after undergoing treatment for neuroendocrine tumour.
