Kajal Aggarwal may replace Catherine Tresa in the Telugu remake of Bogan

Hyderabad : If ongoing buzz in media and film Industry is to be believed, the makers of the Bogan remake wants a bigger star to play the female lead. The pre-production work of the film has been finally wrapped up. Apparently the filmmakers had initially roped Catherine Tresa  to share the screen space with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in this upcoming yet-untitled Telugu remake of Tamil thriller Bogan but now they are planning to replace her with gorgeous diva Kajal Aggarwal.  If everything will go accordingly Kajal will reprise Hansika’s role from the original. Although the reason behind the replacement is not yet known but the sources say that Kajal is more popular in compare of Catherine so they are planning to bring Kajal on the board to play the female lead and they want to make the film on a bigger scale to create the buzz around it.  The talk regarding Kajal Aggarwal’s inclusion has been already initiated.


It is going to be helmed by Lakshman, who helmed the original. Ravi Teja will be playing Jayam Ravi’s role of an honest police officer. The project will roll from November. The sources said, “In the remake, the second half will be even more emotional. These changes are being made to suit Telugu sensibilities.” The regular shooting will now commence in Hyderabad. The makers hope to wrap up the project in flat three months. Imman had composed the music for the original and he might be retained for the remake. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja is busy with two other Telugu projects Raja The Great, in which he is  playing a blind boxer. In Touch Chesi Chudu, he is said to be playing a rough-and-tough cop.
